The Chairman of Orisun Igbomina Broadcasting Network (OIBN), Comrade Ayodele Agboola, and former Commissioner of Information in Osun, Oluomo Sunday Akere, were among the distinguished guests honored at the Investiture Ceremony of Olori Olayemi Ajayi as the 4th President of Rotary Club of Oke Mosan in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The ceremony, held on Sunday 17th November, brought together prominent personalities from across the state including HRM Oba Johnson Adebayo Okubena, the Eleruwon of Eruwon, Ijebu kingdom.
Comrade Ayodele Agboola, represented by Michael Leshi, was a special guest of honor at the event, which marked a significant milestone in the history of Rotary Club of Oke Mosan.
The occasion celebrated the induction of Olori Olayemi Ajayi, a trained journalist and banker, as the new president.
Speaking on the development, Comrade Agboola noted that Ajayi’s leadership will undoubtedly inspire a new era of growth and development for the club and humanity.
“The Rotary Club’s motto, Service Above Self,’resonates deeply with Orisun Igbomina Broadcasting Network’s mission to empower communities and promote positive social change.
“As a dynamic media enterprise, we recognize the importance of collaboration and collective effort in driving meaningful impact.
“Our network’s commitment to innovation, community engagement, and cultural preservation aligns with the Rotary Club’s values of fellowship, integrity, and service,” Comrade Ayodele Agboola said.
The media entrepreneur further noted that he looks forward to working collaboratively with the new Rotary administration to foster a culture of compassion, inclusivity, and fellowship.
In her acceptance speech, Olayemi Ajayi revealed that her administration will focus on strengthening community ties through impactful projects, enhancing membership engagement and supporting global humanitarian initiatives.
She noted that the vision of Rotary International is to encourage the ideals of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.
President Olayemi Ajayi is a proud alumna of the Mass Communication department at Osun State Polytechnic in Iree.
