A former member of the House of Representatives, Shina Peller, has called on President Bola Tinubu to put in place measures that would make life easy for Nigerians.
His plea is coming as protests have started springing up in parts of the country as a result of the hardship and the rising cost of living in the country.
On Monday, some group of women blocked the Minna-Bida Road at the popular Kpakungu Roundabout in Niger State, calling on the government to address the hardship in the land.
Similarly, Kano residents on Thursday stormed Katsina-Kano Road to express their displeasure over the high cost of living in the country.
Peller, in a statement on Friday, urged the President to alleviate the hardships being faced by the citizens.
He advised Tinubu to focus on creating an enabling environment for businesses as well as tackling food insecurity in the country.
To overcome food insecurity, Peller urged the President to see to the well-being and safety of farmers.
