The Osun State Police Command has arrested three suspects in connection with a case of conspiracy, stealing, and abduction.
The suspects are Mukaila Teslim (25),Bakare Azeez (26) and Ajibola Soliu Olamide (24).
Police spokesperson in Osun, SP Yemisi Opalola, during the parade of the suspects in Osogbo on Wednesday said,” On August 19, 2024, at about 6:30 pm, the Police received a petition and subsequently referred it to the Anti-Cultism unit for investigation.
“Through intelligence-led investigation, the suspects were arrested and confessed to the crime, implicating five other suspects currently at large.
“The suspects admitted to stealing Forty thousand dollars from the complainant’s workshop on May 28, 2024, and sharing it among themselves.”
Exhibits recovered from the trio include $4,000, 1 Hisense plasma TV, 1 electronic speaker, 3 android phones and 1 lady bike.
SP Opalola added that the suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of police investigation.
