The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has been thrown into mourning as its chairman, Ajiboye Omodewu, has been reported dead.
Details of his demise are still sketchy, but sources confirm that the APC stalwart passed away today after close to a year of receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment in the United States of America.
The astute politician was commisioner at different ministries, during the administration of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi.
Olawale Sadare, publicity secretary of Oyo APC, confirmed his passage in a terse message on the party’s WhatsApp platform.
