Kayode Egbetokun, Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police has said the country is not ready for state policing in despite its myriads of security challenges.
The IGP made this known on Monday during a national dialogue on state police held in Abuja.
The helmsman, who was represented by AIG Ben Okolo argued among other factors, that there is the potential for abuse of power political leaders at the state level.
