Abiodun Ajayi, an Iree-based entrepreneur, has rated the 8th Osun Assembly high in legislative performance.
In a chat with Orisun Igbomina 102.1FM on Friday, Hon. Ajayi also hailed the leadership and members of the State Parliament for the existing cordial working relationship between the legislature and the executive arms of government in Osun.
Speaking on the role of the legislature in societal development, the People’s Democratic Party stalwart noted that the impressive performance of the Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun led parliament has brought about a rejuvenated Osun.
He emphasized that the the last nine months have been a productive one for the 8th Osun Assembly, which undoubtedly reflects high performance.
Ajayi listed the review of outdated laws and sponsorship of new bills that promote the growth of social sector of the economy as some of the greatest achievements recorded by the House in less than a year of inauguration.
“The 8th Osun Assembly has continued to discharge its constitutionally mandated responsibilities in an impressive way.
“Despite challenges due to economic crisis affecting the nation, the legislature has done well in passing high-quality bills into law.
“The dynamism in bills sponsorship by legislators has tremendously enhanced the law-making process in Osun. This undoubtedly reflects high performance.
