Kindly share this story

The Presidency has confirmed the postponement of the Senate’s screening of the seven newly appointed ministers, initially scheduled for an earlier date.

According to a press statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters, Senator Basheer Lado, the delay is intended to ensure that all nominees complete necessary documentation and pre-screening formalities.

The screening has now been rescheduled for today, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 12:00 p.m.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently reshuffled his 45-member cabinet, appointing seven new ministers, relieving five of their duties, and reassigning ten to different portfolios.
