The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) revealed that 295,603 permanent voter cards (PVCs) remain uncollected in Ondo State ahead of the November 16 governorship election.
INEC plans to deploy 17,705 ad hoc staff and 11,799 security personnel for the election. Resident Electoral Commissioner Mrs. Oluwatoyin Babalola urged residents to collect their PVCs, with distribution scheduled for October 17-21 at 203 Registration Areas and October 23-29 at Local Government levels.
She highlighted over 58,000 new voter registrations and encouraged peaceful participation, assuring voters that their votes will count.
