The Osun State Police Command is encouraging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the nearest law enforcement agency. This appeal was made by the Command’s spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, during the parade of suspected criminals at the state police headquarters in Osogbo on Wednesday.
Opalola emphasized the importance of community partnership in maintaining peace and security in the state. She expressed gratitude to residents and journalists for their unwavering cooperation and support.
“We urge residents to be mindful of their surroundings and report any unusual objects or occurrences to the police or other law enforcement agencies,” Opalola stated. “This collaboration is crucial in sustaining the peace and security we enjoy in Osun State.”
SP Opalola further stated that the police command is committed to working closely with stakeholders across Osun to prevent and address criminal activity. She emphasized that by reporting suspicious occurrences, residents can play a vital role in keeping their neighborhood safe.
