Kindly share this story

The Federal Government has increased the fees for the procurement of Nigerian passports with effect from the 1st of September 2024.

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Kenneth Udo, says the increment is part of the government’s efforts to maintain the quality and integrity of the Nigerian standard passport.

He said based on the review, a 32-page passport booklet with 5-year validity previously charged at N35,000 will now be N50,000, while a 64-page passport booklet with 10-year validity, which was N70,000, will be revised to N100,000.

The statement further adds that the fees remain unchanged for Nigerians in the diaspora.
