In a shocking discovery, the remains of Adeola, a popular commercial motorcyclist, were found inside a well at an uncompleted building in the Oke Agunla area of Ijebu-Jesa, Osun State, on Tuesday. Adeola had been missing since Friday evening, and his family’s efforts to locate him were unsuccessful until the gruesome discovery.
According to a family member who spoke to Diamond FM, Adeola’s mobile phone rang endlessly but remained unanswered until it switched off, fueling concerns about his safety. It is believed that the assailants dumped his body in the well and stole his motorcycle.
An eyewitness described the incident as “shocking and unnerving,” revealing that the building had been abandoned for three months until the site owner returned to the property on Tuesday morning. The owner discovered the body while resuming work on the well and immediately raised the alarm.
The body was found covered in sand, swollen, and emitting a foul smell. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and an investigation has commenced.
