Arewa community in Lagos State has backed out of the nationwide protest starting today.
The leader of the community in Lagos, Alhaji Shehu Usman, told newsmen that northerners residing in Lagos are in full support of the economic policies of the federal government and advised the protesters to embrace dialogue.
He said that some fifth columnists were masterminding the protest to destabilize the country for selfish reasons.
