The Chairman of Orisun Igbomina Broadcasting Network (OIBN), Comrade Ayodele Agboola, has emphasized the significant role the media plays in shaping Nigeria’s narrative and influencing public opinion.

In a communique released by his Chief Press Secretary on Tuesday in Ila-Orangun town, Agboola noted that the media has the power to shape the country’s story, promote truth, and hold leaders accountable. He urged media practitioners to use their platforms responsibly and prioritize factual reporting, accuracy, and fairness.

“The media has the power to make or mar our nation,” Agboola said. “Let us use our platforms to promote unity, progress, and good governance.”

Agboola’s call to action comes as Nigeria grapples with various challenges, including economic growth, insecurity, and hike in food prices.
