Five members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Ebonyi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, have been reportedly killed in a gun duel with the operatives of the state police command.
The group was said to have invaded Ishieke Police Station in a blue Sienna bus around 9:30 pm on Wednesday and opened fire on the station.
They were, however, overpowered by the police in a gun battle that lasted about 30 minutes.
A video showing the bodies of the hoodlums was shared on social media platforms on Wednesday night.
The operatives from the state police command headquarters in Abakiliki and soldiers responded quickly to a distress call from the Ishieke Police Station.
