The Police Western Ports Command in Lagos says it has put in places strategies to protect critical national infrastructure at the Lagos Ports.
The Commissioner in charge of the Command, Mr. Olanrewaju Olawale Ishola gave the assurance in a statement in Lagos.
His assurance comes on the heels of planned protests across the state.
He said that all critical national Infrastructures at the Apapa Port, Tincan Island Port, Lekki Deep-Sea Port and other lighter terminals in the state are secured.
The Command therefore assures Lagosians that there will be free flow of traffic in and out of all port complexes, no vehicular clustering in and around the port’s corridors as no form of road blockage, harassment, or intimidation of law-abiding Nigerians will be tolerated.
