The presidency has emphasised that the organised Organised Labour’s demand of four hundred and ninety four thousand naira minimum wage will cripple the country’s economy.
The presidential spokesperson,Ajuri Ngelale, said this during a national television programme said it was not in the interest of labour to approve the demand of labour, while the government has offered sixty thousand.
Speaking on the development, Ngelale said many small businesses would close shop if the Federal Government and the Organised Private Sector (OPS) pay Labour’s demand.
