Lagos Officials Dislodge Traders, Demolish Illegal Stalls Near Schools

Officials of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps have dislodged traders and demolished stalls built by the perimeter fence of some schools in the Itire area of the state.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this in photos shared on X yesterday.

Wahab’s caption read, “Officials of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) commenced clearance operations by the perimeter fence of Ansarudeen Primary School, opposite Onitire’s Palace, Itire, and Ansarudeen Girls Grammar School, Odo Eran, Itire.”

A similar operation was conducted on April 25 when illegal kiosks built around the perimeter fence of Sanya Senior Grammar School, Ijeshatedo, were removed by the operatives of the LAGESC.
