English Premier League suffered a huge blow in this year’s edition of the UEFA Champions League after Arsenal and Man City’s quarter-final defeats on Wednesday night.
Arsenal and Man City were bundled out of the competition by Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Real Madrid knocked Manchester City out of the Champions League 4-3 on penalties.The tie ends 4-4 on aggregate but Antonio Rudiger’s winning penalty means Los Blancos face Bayern Munich in the semi-finals.
Bayern Munich edged out Arsenal 3-2 on aggregate after their 1-0 win at home.
The German giants are onto the UEFA Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 2019/2020 season.
