The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has apprehended celebrity bar-man and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest,
for allegedly tampering with Naira notes at social events.
The EFCC has filed a three count charge against Cubana Chief Priest over alleged naira abuse, preparatory to his arraignment today (Wednesday) before the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Mr Okechuckwu faces accusations of violating the Central Bank Act.
Cubana Chief Priest is the second influential figure that the anti-graft agency has arrested in recent weeks over infractions of this kind after popular cross-dresser Bobrisky was put behind bars.
